This year alone, over
40,000 women in the US will die from breast cancer (that’s
one every 12 minutes), and another 200,000 will be diagnosed – what
terrible figures! Each one of us could be prey to breast
disease; it is my intention to help transform these grim
statistics that grip our culture.
The good news is that we can
change these statistics!
It is my intention to help
eradicate the fear, ignorance and doom so many women feel
about breast disease, and to stop its advancement. There
are now successful, non-invasive treatments for breast pain
and discomfort, healing painful scarring, and most importantly,
proven health knowledge to prevent and protect against disease.
Research indicates that our lifestyle
choices create and support our health. Science and traditional
medicine teach that foods and supplements are effective in
creating and maintaining good health. There are simple, safe,
proven dietary and lifestyle modifications that have potent
results in healing many chronic and acute conditions, and can
bring you back to vibrant health.
This information is not meant to replace
advice give to you by your doctor; it is intended to give you
choices that can protect against disease, treat breast issues,
and give you the best breast health possible. It is my passion
to work together with you towards changing the statistics of
breast disease in our lifetime!

After
treatment for breast cancer, my right breast felt hard and lumpy.
The doctor said it would always feel that way because of the
radiation. But after receiving only three breast treatments,
the breast feels almost the same as the other one. The hardness
is gone. It really made a difference.

 Facts About Breast Health Care
- Breasts do not have muscles to help move them or a pumping
system to circulate and drain fluids.
- Surgical scars can cause breast pain or “pulling” and can
develop pockets of swelling where fluid collects.
- Monthly cycles, pregnancy and lactation or surgery can
cause a variety of pain or discomfort. Chronic conditions
causing breast congestion are associated with breast pain
and degenerative tissue changes.
- There are many readily available nutritional supplements
and foods that boost breast health factors, including garlic,
turmeric (a natural anti-inflammatory), flax seed and oil,
omega oils, green tea (a natural anti-oxidant), fresh green
vegetables and fresh fruits.
- Smoking, excessive alcohol, sugar and refined foods, pesticides
and herbicides, chemicals and food additives, trans-fats
and hydrogenated oils have been shown to be factors in increased
breast disease.
- At least 30 minutes of aerobic exercise three to five times
a week may lower you risk of breast cancer by as much as
30 %.

Lymph System
The lymph system is a cleansing system for cellular waste
in the body. It is a one-way transport system that can get
easily clogged, because it doesn’t have a pumping system of
its own. The axillary (underarm) lymph nodes are close to the
breast; 97% of the lymphatic fluid that drains breasts is found
in these underarm nodes.
For good breast health, it is imperative to keep the lymph
fluid circulating. Exercise, deep breathing and lymphatic drainage
massage help move the lymph fluid, supporting the clearing
of waste and debris from the system. The better the circulation,
the healthier your breasts and body will be!

I
find breast treatments are valuable to me in two ways. The first
is my practical reason: since I have lost 24 lymph nodes on one
side, I know that that breast needs assistance with lymph drainage.
The
other reason is that it's so reassuring to me to know that another
professional who is knowledgeable about breast tissue is checking
for any changes, especially since I have numb areas where the
surgery was done.

Lymphatic Breast Treatment

This treatment is designed to softly drain the many lymph
nodes around the breast, encourage circulation in the breast
tissue with gentle massage, and relieve swelling or pulling
from scars. It allows monitoring of tissue changes, and helps
heal edema, post-surgery scars, and other chronic breast problems.
Because of breasts' particular need for good circulation,
tissue mobilization and regular care, a Lymphatic Breast Treatment
is effective in achieving optimal breast health.
Dr. Wolf's Lymphatic Breast Treatment is performed in the
professional privacy of her office and includes:
- a thorough
breast and lymph palpation examination
- breast massage and
lymphatic drainage
- instruction in comprehensive breast self-examination
- a
soothing chest "facial" to rejuvenate delicate tissues

I have fibrous breasts which were always very sore and engorged
premenstrually. I was amazed at how effective the treatment was;
I could feel fluid moving and clearing my breast. Since then
I have made a practice of getting regular treatments and doing
self-massage almost daily. I have virtually no problem with breast
soreness now.

After breast reduction surgery I was left with a line of
tension near the bottom scar. Raising my arms over my head caused
painful pulling and stretching along the length of the scar.
The massage treatment really helped alleviate the pressure. The
scar doesn't bother me at all now.
